Biography: 

My name is Mrs. Rusielewicz, but everyone calls me Mrs. R. I'm extremely excited to be your art teacher! I have been a teacher for over 12 years. I enjoy drawing and watercolor painting, spending time with my family and traveling. The most rewarding part of being an art teacher is watching my students grow as artists and getting to know them as individuals.

Welcome My Amazing Artists!

Students in Pre-K through 8th grade will have art once a week. I will be here at Our Lady Queen of  Apostles on Mondays and Fridays each week. Students in grades Pre-K through 8 will use imaginative thinking, creativity, and self expression to create their very own unique drawings and paintings. We will look at and discuss famous artworks and the artist that created them. We will go on many adventures exploring art from other cultures and countries. Students will use the elements and principles of design when creating their artwork. I am excited to begin the year filled with fun, creativity, and art.
