Welcome Back to School!
I hope you had a wonderful Easter break with family and friends. This week in kindergarten we are stalking about Earth Day and ways to help take car of our Earth so we have it for many more years. In addition, we are beginning to prepare for our Mother's Day Tea on May 11th. Look for a note with details to be sent home this week. We will be working hard on special projects for the important ladies in our lives.
Our sight word this week is good

In preparation for First Grade, we are beginning to build
“Reading Stamina” Many students get intimidated by stories with “too many
words”. Practice reading longer stories with
more words on each page.
WE CAN DO IT!! J

This has been such a busy time in kindergarten. This week we are getting ready to celebrate Easter. On Friday we were able to see the 7th & 8th graders reenact the Stations of the Cross in the church. On Wednesday we will be having our Bunny breakfast and our Easter School Mass. Mass begins at 10:45. All are welcome to attend.
Our sight words this week are he and but
I like red but he likes green!
(a, and, can, for, I, is, like, me, see, the, to, you, said, we, up, go, play, at, my, on, look, be, put, jump, this, all, come, but, he)
With Superkids, we have been reading sentences and
answering questions about what we read.
When reading at home, ask questions about the characters, problem,
solution, and the sequence of events in the story.
Practice the positional vocabulary we are learning. Hide something and give your child clues to find it using the words below, above, beside, next to, behind and in front of.
